Esoteric and Occult Defined:

The words “esoteric” and “occult” signify “that which is hidden”; indicate that which lies behind the outer and point to the causes which produce appearance and effects. They are concerned with the subtler world of energies and forces which all outer forms veil and hide.

 

Esotericism Defined.

“Esotericism is the study and intelligent use of energies.”

“Esotericism is not mystical and vague.  It is a science.. it reveals the world of meaning..  The esotericist starts by endeavouring to discover the reason why; he wrestles with the problem of happenings, events, crises and circumstances in order to arrive at the meaning they should hold for him..  The true esoteric viewpoint is always that of the larger Whole.

Esotericism .. is occupied entirely with the soul aspect. Esotericism involves a life lived in tune with the inner subjective realities; it is only possible when the student is intelligently polarised and mentally focussed…

Esotericism is the art of "bringing down to earth" energies which emanate from the highest sources and anchoring them…

"The work of the esotericist has to bring out of latency the hidden divine qualities; to make the potential into the reality.

Esoteric Workers Defined

Essentially, Esoteric Workers are modern day disciples who are endeavouring to bring into the light of day, that inner truth which is hidden behind form – the inner spiritual realities and qualities of the Divine. They seek to firmly establish in the collective mind – the sacredness of all human souls, and their work is distinguished by brotherly love and wisdom. They are found in their thousands all over the globe and in every country and race. Collectively they are members of the New Group of World Servers – people around the world who work for right human relations and the higher good for all people of the earth. The constitute the esoteric workers in this New Group of World Servers.
